Our driver will pick you up from your hotel/Residence in Nairobi 9:45am and set off as you drive some 30 kilometers from the city to enter a world of serenity, tranquility, and green beauty.Get to Limuru at 11am to learn about Kenyan Tea/Coffee production with this farm-to-cup experience. You will be taken through every step of the production process, and get the chance to sample some freshly brewed Kenyan tea/coffee yourself. Upon arrival, you will be given the history of the farm by the professional staff over a cup of tea or coffee as well as the production process. You will later proceed to the farm to see crops in the field for more insights of how to grow. Later, take a walk in the indigenous forest exploring the serene grounds with a resident Kenyan guide who will identify the unique plants and explain how they are traditionally used for medicinal value. Look out for the Colobus monkeys close up and wander in the gardens which are home to a wide variety of birds and flowers.
You will later return to the house to enjoy a pre-lunch drink on the verandah with sweeping views across the tea fields all the way to the Ngong Hills.
Enjoy your three course buffet lunch from the set menu prepared with freshly vegetables from the garden and desserts topped with cream from our herd of Channel Island cows.
Later in the afternoon, you return back to Nairobi and be dropped at your hotel /residence to spend the rest of your day at leisure.
