After your easy breakfast, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Mombasa /Diani, and set off as you drive on Nairobi via Nairobi-Mombasa road, taking beautiful sceneries along the way before making it to the legendary ‘Land of Lava, springs, & Magical Sunsets; -‘The Tsavo West National Park’. Upon arrival at the Mtito Andei park gate, Upon arrival at the Mtito Andei park gate mid-morning, your guide will help with the park entry formalities to pave way for your adventures in one of the most spectacular wildlife havens in the world. Your orientation game drive takes you to the beautiful ‘Mzima springs’ , an oasis of life in this beautiful park with crystal clear water oozing from the underground. You will temporarily step out of your safari jeep and engage on a brief mind-blowing nature as you aim to spot some of the cleanest Hippos and Crocodile, fish and a plothera of other wildlife species as they come to quench thirst as in this paradise. You may be lucky to spot most inhabitants species common here including: Giraffes, leopards (seldom seen), Buffaloes, and Elephants, Baboons, colobus monkey, lion, warthog, bushbuck, Kudus, Elands, red duiker, suni, and countless species of birds. You will take a break in the mid-day hours to enjoy your picnic lunch boxes at a convenient location within the park, with great views of the park plains, rolling hills and bushes while enjoying your meal.
Later in the afternoon, you will proceed with your final exit drive with an opportunity to visit a beautiful extinct lava flow ‘Shetani lava flow’, named by the locals meaning “Devil’s lava flow”, which was active hundreds of years ago but left behind a wonderful scenery. You at around 15:30Hrs conclude your safari and make your exit from park to embark on a journey back to Nairobi and be dropped at your hotel to enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
