Our driver will pick you up from your hotel/residence in Nairobi 07:00Hrs, and after introduction and Safari briefing, you will depart and proceed on a drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. En-route, you will make stopover to enjoy an elevated view of the breathtaking landscape at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint; as you marvel at spectacular sceneries created by this natural phenomenon that runs from Lebanon to Mozambique. After this convenient stop, you will start meandering down the escapement as you descend to drive further on the expansive floor of rift; past Mt. Longonot and two of the Great Rift Valley lakes, ‘The Lake Naivasha’ and ‘The Lake Elementeita’, before making it to your destination. Upon your arrival, clear with the park entry procedures’ and start your game drives in one of Kenya’s most spectacular wildlife haven. The serene Park boasts of stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, waterfalls and beautiful surroundings of thick acacia forests; presenting a well worth wildlife experience. Here, you have great chances of spotting the black and white rhinos, buffaloes, waterbucks, baboons, the majestic special Rothchild’s giraffes roaming freely in the wild, among many other members of this ecosystem. Birdlife is also in abundance with different water birds that are favored by alkaline waters with the highlights of the world renowned Greater and Lessor Flamingo’s which can be found feeding on algae in the shallows of the lake, pelicans, just to mention but a few.
You will take a break in the mid-day hours to enjoy your lunch in one of the strategically located Lodges inside the park as you unwind; immersing yourself in nature surrounded by the sights and sounds of a thriving ecosystem. As the day transitions into evening, precede on yet another exit game drive before embarking on relaxed drive back to Nairobi arriving in the evening.
