After your breakfast you will be picked up at 07:00Hrs in a shared town vehicle and proceed on a drive to Shimoni for a dhow excursion. You will drive through historical villages with great views of palm trees, cashew nuts and Sisal plantations as you marvel at the residents going about their daily activities. Upon arrival at the Shimoni piers, you meet the experienced dive team and listen to a brief introduction about the trip and available options before setting sail in an authentic Swahili dhow. Traverse through the Wasini channel with great marine scenery of the Indian ocean Islands, keeping your eyes peeled for the playful dolphins frolicking in the waves. (Please note that nature is unpredictable, and there are no guaranteed chances of seeing the graceful creatures since all depends on luck and the prevailing weather conditions).
You will finally anchor at the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park and immerse yourself in the underwater realm on a snorkeling expedition in the company a team of highly trained divers and marine experts. This protected area is known for its stunning coral reefs, fish, sea turtles and other marine inhabitants. After a morning of diving and snorkeling, lunch is served at a local Wasini Island Restaurant and then the rest of your day; may be spent on a visit to the local village by Wasini Coral gardens, or you may even rejuvenate with a nap or just relax on the beachfront watching the ocean waves splashing against the rocky corals. Later in the afternoon, be transferred back to your resort in Diani to spend the rest of the day at leisure.
